General

Welcome to Bridezilla, a website that provides Clients a reliable platform to get Bridal Hair and Makeup. The following Terms of use apply when you view or use the Bridezilla website or services via www.bridezillanewbury.co.uk.

Please endeavor to review the following terms carefully.  By accessing or using the Bridezilla platform or services, you signify your agreement to these Terms and condition.  If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access our website or use the Bridezilla platform or services. Your access to and use of this website, as well as all related websites operated by Bridezilla (which includes www.bridezillanewbury.co.uk, among others) (collectively the “Site”) is subject to the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Use”) and all applicable laws. By accessing and browsing the Bridezilla Site, you accept, without limitation or qualification, the Terms and Conditions and acknowledge that any other agreements between you and Bridezilla website are superseded and of no force or effect.

Please read these terms and conditions carefully as it governs the relationship between you and (us), Bridezilla and limits our liability to you when you purchase products and/or services from our website. By accepting these terms and conditions you are forming a contract with us and agreeing to the terms and conditions that appear below. References to “you” and “your” are to you as an individual. References to “us”, “our” and “we” are to Kellie Boyd, Nicole Price, and Louise Shields of Bridezilla.

 

Legal Agreement

This is a legally binding agreement between Bridezilla and you for the provision of the services (including Bridal Hair and Makeup) requested, and these terms shall govern the agreement between you and us to the ruling out of any other terms or conditions.

You agree to abide with these terms and conditions as laid out in this agreement and any other terms and conditions as modified by us from time to time at our full discretion.

Bridezilla reserves the right to refuse products/services to anyone for whatsoever reason and to terminate the contracts at any time. We may also at our sole discretion and for any reason, delete any information, pictures, comments or any other material posted by clients.

 

Booking Process and Payments

Booking enquires can be made via our website, telephone, or email. Bridezilla will then supply you with a quote and confirm availability.

To secure the booking, clients will be required to pay a £100 non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. This covers the cost of the trial and will be deducted off your final fee. The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to the wedding.

The deposit can be paid via BACS. The final balance can be paid via BACS, credit/debit card or cash.

Bridezilla will provide a booking summary and confirm receipt of the deposit. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that Bridezilla are notified of any changes that need to be made within 7 days of receiving the booking summary.

The price agreed at the time of booking is final, so if Bridezilla change their prices this will not affect your agreed rate. All deposits are payable at the time of booking. Invoices are subject to change if additional services are required.

Bank holiday, Sunday and December weddings require a minimum booking of £400. Bookings that require a 7am start or before will incur a £70 surcharge.

We understand that weddings can get expensive, we are happy to provide you with a payment plan to cover the cost of your wedding should you wish, please contact us to discuss a plan suitable for you.

Any payments made towards your wedding will be held in a secure account, you will then be emailed a receipt of each payment made to help you keep track of your balance.

 

Trial

A mutually convenient time for the trial will be arranged between the parties. It may occasionally be necessary to change the date of a trial that has already been agreed and every attempt will be made to accommodate another date that is convenient.

Once you are happy with your chosen Hair and Makeup, Bridezilla will ensure that a detailed record of all products used are recorded for our own personal use.

 

Changes to Bookings

Notification should be given of any changes to the booking for the wedding day or trial as soon as possible. This includes changes to the number of clients, location, dates and times. It is the client’s responsibility to do this as we cannot guarantee stylists availability on the day.

Changes must be confirmed in writing via email or in person or by telephone and are not accepted as written notice until you have received a reply from Bridezilla.

 

Miscellaneous Terms

Bridezilla reserve the right to refuse to work if a client is rude or aggressive. Bridezilla require full cooperation from clients on the day to ensure we keep to the allocated time for each person in the party. We will ensure we arrive promptly and request that the clients are ready for us to start at the agreed time. Failure to comply may result in clients being unable to have the full service they have requested.

Clients are kindly asked not to use any of our products for their own personal use or to share with their guests.

Bridezilla holds full public liability insurance.

Any members of Bridezilla’s team work under their own insurance policies. Bridezilla comply with all GDPR regulations and you will be required to sign a separate form at the time of your trial.

 

Application of products

It is the client’s responsibility to notify Bridezilla of any health complaint, skin complaint, or sensitivity to any part of your face body or hair that you are aware of prior to the application of any products.

It is also the client’s responsibility to ensure that any member of the bridal party requiring hair or makeup services are notified the same.

Bridezilla reserves the right to refuse to apply products to any person they suspect of suffering from any form of skin complaint or sensitivity.

It is your responsibility to notify your makeup artist of any known allergies or sensitivities to any cosmetic brand, this includes all members of the bridal party who are receiving makeup application.

 

Cancellation by you

You reserve the right to cancel your wedding day hair or makeup at any point prior to your wedding day. Please note the following charges will apply:

Your deposit is non-refundable unless Bridezilla need to cancel.

Twelve weeks or less before your wedding the balance is due in full.

Over twelve weeks’ notice any monies paid towards the booking will be refunded less the deposit.

Cancellations must be confirmed in writing via email to Bridezilla.

 

Cancellation by Bridezilla

In the very unlikely event that Bridezilla is unable to attend your booking due to sickness, injury, personal emergency or any other circumstances beyond our control, we will endeavour to find a replacement hair stylist or makeup artist of similar standard.

This cannot, however be guaranteed. If Bridezilla is unable to find a replacement you will receive a full refund of all monies paid, less the cost of the trial.

 

Timings

At the trial Bridezilla will agree with you a time to arrive and a time to leave on the wedding day. Inevitably proceedings often run late on the morning of the wedding and an allowance for this will be built into our agreed timings.

Should Bridezilla be required to run over those agreed timings due to lateness on the part of any of the bridal party , or any other factor which is not of Bridezillas making, then a payment of £20 per half an hour will be payable.

 

Travel

Mileage is charged at 0.50p per mile each way to travel to you on your wedding day. Bridezilla will endeavour to travel together if you are using both hair and makeup artists, but occasionally this is not possible depending on timings and the size of your bridal party.

Parking costs are to be covered by the client and can be paid in cash on the day of the wedding.

It is also the client’s responsibility to arrange for parking permits to be provided for Bridezilla if needed prior to our arrival on the day.

A simple hotel/B&B close to your wedding venue may need to be organised for the night before the wedding if; journey time is over two hours one way, the start time is early and limited, or it’s not practical to drive on the morning due to bad weather or other unforeseeable events/delays.

Weddings that have a service start time before 7am will incur a £70 surcharge.

 

Photo copyright

It’s really important to us that we keep on updating our portfolio and social media, so please let us know if you do not wish to be photographed or if you are not happy for us to use your images for marketing purposes (this area is also covered in our GDPR form which you will be required to sign).

It is always necessary for us to take photos at the time of your trial, these are for our own personal use only and will not be disclosed on any social media platform.

It’s important we have these photos to refer back to leading up to your wedding day. If for any reason you are unhappy for us to take photos please advise your stylist.

Bridezilla are happy to be photographed on the day of your wedding whilst doing any hair or makeup, we would kindly request that any photos used are credited with our name on social media platforms. Thank you.
